Marley Moving Corp (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Marley Moving Corp”) has operated since 2009 under Marcus Marley’s ownership, running its moving and storage work out of New York City for all five boroughs. Information You Hand Us
When you ask for a quote, book a date, or simply reach out, you share the basics at the start: name, phone, email; the address you are leaving and the one you are headed to; the floor and access at each end; the dates you have in mind; and a loose list of what is moving or going into storage. Anything you pay runs through a secure third-party processor, and any notes you add ride along with the rest.
Information Gathered On Its Own
Quietly and without any effort on your part, your visit leaves a slim technical trail: your IP, the browser and device you came in on, the pages you opened and the times, logged through cookies and similar tools. A trail like that keeps the site running and shows us the path visitors take through it.
What We Do With It
Your information lets us prepare and send a quote, book and run the move or the storage, draw up paperwork like the building Certificate of Insurance, collect payment and issue receipts, keep you in the loop and resolve any claim, and satisfy the duties tied to our NYSDOT, US DOT, and MC credentials. That same data drives ongoing improvement to the website and the work. Whatever we send concerns the move at hand; we contact you about anything else only after you have asked us to.
When We Share It
Selling your personal information is categorically off the table, in every circumstance. It goes to an outside party solely where that party handles a task for us, our payroll crews and desk staff, the payment processors, the scheduling software, the insurers, and the people maintaining our systems, and never further than each one genuinely requires. Beyond that, it leaves only where a law, a court, or a government body demands it, or where there is no other way to safeguard our rights, the people we serve, or our crew.
